Ingredients
- Marinara sauce (1 ½ cups)
- Olive oil (2 tbsp)
- 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (14 oz)
- Fresh basil stems and leaves (optional)
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 chicken cutlets (1/4" thick)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce:
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft. Add crushed tomatoes and basil stems, simmer for 15 minutes, then season to taste.Bread the Chicken:
Mix panko and Parmesan. Coat chicken cutlets evenly.Cook in Air Fryer:
Place breaded cutlets in Silico’s air fryer basket. Air fry at 200°C (390°F) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden.Assemble:
Top each cutlet with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Return to the basket and air fry for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.Serve:
Garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Enjoy with pasta or salad
